I think the challenges are a great idea, although it is difficult for me to get away from Scandi fiction, as it is my favourite. Enjoy your time in Normandy and I will definitely be keeping an eye on your blog for updates and pics. Yes I do Rosemaling, and have done for quite some time, but perhaps I did not include too much on the blog. Most of the pictures end up on my site or on facebook. The header is from a Rogaland piece designed by Vi Thode and I painted it I think back in 2005/6. It is acrylics but I usually now paint in oils. How about you? Do you have a preference of medium? I'm reading The Count of Monte Cristo, read The Vagabonde, by Collette and have started one by Balzac in French. We will be living in Normandy, France for a couple months this year. Normandy, of course named for the Norsemen from Scandinavia.
Thank you for leaving kind comments on my blog. Last time I visited your blog, I didn't notice the rosemaling. Did you change the header? Well, anyway it is gorgeous and I'm happy to find another rosemaler who blogs, as well. Around here they tend be be older and barely use e-mail. Your work is beautiful.

CeciCécilehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17718744271183204774noreply@blogger.com
